All animals have unique characteristics, energies and lessons giving you direction on your life
path. Your path consists of your life choices and spiritual energies combined with gifts from those with whom you share the
Earth. In Native American mythology, the Lizard is the dreamer. It also represents foresight, ancient secrets, patience, wisdom,
regeneration, conservation and agility. The Lizard has the ability to regenerate something which has been lost. When it loses
it's tail, it can grow it back as it does it's skin when it sheds it. This can be a lesson to us. There is nothing that is
so easily lost, we can regain things through repair and regeneration.
Some time ago I acquired a fondness for the Lizard as well as a connection. I am surrounded by them. It's been said that when
a Lizard comes to you it is telling you that it is time to start paying attention to your dreams. Hence, I have accepted the
Lizard as my power animal and am realizing my dreams.
